jesse + jessica | engaged

After shooting Jesse and Jessica’s engagements out at Swiss Valley, I realized that I rarely go out there and was at a loss for the reason. It’s absolutely gorgeous; the perfect place for a picnic, walk, or to bring a book. It’s also not too shabby for taking pictures. These two both answer to ‘Jesse’,...

Andrew + Jenn | ENGAGEMENT

The original plan was to shoot underwater. I didn’t work. Too many chemicals in the pool and too much cold in the air washed those ideas away fairly quickly. Though it wasn’t all a loss, since we did get to drink coffee in a hot tub. Plan b turned out to be much more than...

Hi Pamela – It’s the restoration warehouse! Very soon to be renovated into lofts.

Pamela - October 4, 2011 - 3:49 am

Which building is this? Is it the Voices Warehouse or perhaps the one across the street?

Amy Harrison - October 1, 2011 - 5:40 am

Dustin + Michelle | ENGAGEMENT

This summer in Iowa we’ve been blanketed with unbearable heat, as well as dumped on with more rain than I can ever remember. Amanda + Alex | {Engaged}

Alex and Amanda live down in Miami (jealous anyone?), but were up in Dubuque to finalize wedding plans and visit family recently and gave me some time to do their engagement photos. We moved around downtown Dubuque to a few different locations I hadn’t used before, and I think we created some really worthwhile images....

Robby + Erin | Engagement

Robby and Erin came to me with two locations already in mind for their engagement shoot; a cemetery and a seminary. Some of a more cynical persuasion might find it easy to equate both locations. Don’t. I for one was ecstatic to be able to shoot in two locations that I never had before. They...

Beyond Cool. Love them! (Erin & Robby) and the photos. Different kind of love.

Sean MacDonald - May 3, 2011 - 5:02 am

I am truly impressed that you keep growing as a photographer. I love the fact that this looks nothing like most of your other work. I felt as I was looking at the first photograph that I was looking at a time magazine from the early 1960′s. I love the post production and the style. Keep up the fresh perspective. Truly classic

Very cool!

Christian Boddy - May 2, 2011 - 6:10 pm

What everyone else said. I love these. And them. And you. And everything about this.

Liz Skiles - May 2, 2011 - 6:02 pm

Wow. Wow. These are so Erin and Robby. Love them. :) Awesome job, Graeme!

Liz Gunther - May 2, 2011 - 5:51 pm

Holy buckets, these pictures are class and a half. Sheer genius.

Ryan Day Thompson - May 2, 2011 - 4:29 pm

(Drops jaw) Genius. This is one of the most perfect representations of these people I have ever seen.
