As I was exiting one of the local colleges in town (after having orchestra practice) the cool foggy night was just begging to be photographed. I happily obliged. It’s been a couple months since I’ve photographed any personal nature work and I stayed out until my fingers were numb. Here’s a small study of a lamppost and some trees from the evening. I love the juxtaposition of the obviously artificial yellow sodium vapour light and the all natural branches below it.
