Although 100% of my seniors have been shot on location either in rural or urban settings, I thought it would be fun to at try starting in the studio for a few minutes and then move on to whichever location was determined. The last two sessions have followed this formula, and I really like the results of mixing in a few ‘classic’ shots with the environmental portraiture.
Emily’s shoot was at a beautiful undisclosed location that she picked – one that I intend to frequent soon and often when I need to get out with a book or a journal. Spring is starting to peek around the corner, and the sun made Nathan and I unexpectedly take off our jackets almost immediately into shooting.
